ಸೂರ್ಯ ಏಳುವ ಮೊದಲೇ..
ನನಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ-
ಜೀವ ನಾನಿನ್ನೂ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ-
ನಿನ್ನದೇ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂದ್ರನೊಡನೆ
ಮುಳುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅನ್ನುವುದೇ??

ಕಂಬಳಿ ಕುರಬರ ಹುಡುಗನ
ಬೆತ್ತದ ಜೊತೆಗೊಂದು -
ಕರಿ ನಾಯಿ ಮರಿ
ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಂಸದ ಆಸೆ.
ಮಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ
ಮಾಲೀಕನ ಮಾತು.
ಕಟುಕರವನ ಒಡೆಯನಂತಿರುವ
ದಲ್ಲಾಳಿಯ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರ.
ತಿನ್ನುವುದೇ ಕಾಯಕ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ
ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆಂಥ ಗೊತ್ತು??
ತಾನು ಸೊಪ್ಪು ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ
ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವ
